The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 (SKU: LENOVOSR650001) is a 2U rack server designed for enterprise and data center workloads. It belongs to the SR600 series and supports virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and database applications.

This configuration uses an Intel Xeon Bronze 3204 processor with 16GB TruDDR4 memory. As a result, it delivers reliable entry-level compute performance. In addition, the platform supports up to 2× Intel Xeon Scalable processors and scales memory up to 7.5TB across 24 DIMM slots. This allows seamless expansion as workloads grow.

The system provides flexible storage architecture. It supports 8× 2.5″ hot-swap drive bays in this configuration. Moreover, the SR650 platform supports up to 24× 2.5″ or 14× 3.5″ drives, including NVMe and AnyBay configurations. It also supports M.2 drives for OS boot. This improves both performance and deployment flexibility.
