The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR530 (SKU: LENOVOSR530003) is a 1U rack server designed for entry to mid-range enterprise workloads. It belongs to the SR500 series and targets virtualization, file services, and general-purpose data center applications.

This system supports up to 2× Intel Xeon Scalable processors. As a result, it delivers efficient compute performance in a compact 1U form factor. In addition, it supports up to 12 DIMM slots with TruDDR4 memory. It scales up to 768GB using LRDIMMs, which enables strong performance for memory-driven workloads.

The server provides flexible storage configurations. It supports up to 8× 2.5″ SAS/SATA drives or up to 4× 3.5″ drives. Moreover, it allows optional M.2 drives for OS boot. This design improves storage efficiency and deployment flexibility.

For networking, the SR530 includes 2× integrated 1GbE RJ-45 ports. It also supports additional network expansion through LOM and PCIe adapters, including 10GbE options. Furthermore, it offers up to 3 PCIe 3.0 slots for I/O scalability and performance upgrades.
