The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR590 (SKU: LENOVOSR590001) is a 2U rack server designed for enterprise and data center workloads. It belongs to the SR500 series and targets virtualization, cloud computing, and general IT infrastructure.

This configuration uses an Intel Xeon Bronze 3204 processor (6 cores, 1.9GHz) with 16GB TruDDR4 memory. As a result, it delivers reliable entry-level compute performance. In addition, the platform supports up to 2× Intel Xeon Scalable processors and scales memory up to 1TB across 16 DIMM slots. This allows smooth expansion for growing workloads.

The system provides flexible storage architecture. It includes 8× 2.5″ drive bays in this configuration. Moreover, the SR590 platform supports up to 16× 2.5″ or 14× 3.5″ hot-swappable drives, including NVMe options and AnyBay technology. It also supports up to 2× M.2 drives for OS boot. This improves performance and deployment flexibility.

For storage control, this SKU includes a RAID 730i controller. As a result, it enables hardware RAID support for data protection and optimized storage performance.
