The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR590 (SKU: LENOVOSR590004) is a 2U rack server designed for small to large enterprise workloads. It belongs to the SR500 series and targets virtualization, cloud computing, and general IT infrastructure.

This platform supports up to 2× Intel Xeon Scalable processors (Gen 1 and Gen 2). As a result, it delivers balanced compute performance for mixed workloads. In addition, it supports up to 1TB of TruDDR4 memory. This enables efficient handling of standard enterprise applications.

The system provides flexible storage architecture. It supports up to 16× 2.5″ or 14× 3.5″ drive bays. Moreover, it supports NVMe SSDs and Lenovo AnyBay technology, which allows SAS, SATA, and NVMe drives in the same bays. This improves deployment flexibility and storage performance.
