The Ubiquiti UniFi Security Gateway Pro 4 (USG-PRO-4) is an enterprise-grade rackmount security gateway designed for centralized network routing and security management. It integrates advanced Layer 3 routing with enterprise firewall capabilities, making it suitable for SMB, enterprise, and multi-site deployments.
The USG-PRO-4 features dual Gigabit WAN ports and dual Gigabit LAN ports. As a result, it supports flexible WAN configurations, including failover and load balancing. It also includes 2× SFP ports for fiber connectivity, enabling high-speed uplink integration in enterprise environments.
The gateway delivers advanced security features, including stateful firewall, deep packet inspection (DPI), and VLAN segmentation. When managed through the UniFi Controller, it supports intrusion detection and prevention (IDS/IPS). Therefore, it provides enhanced visibility and protection across the network.
The device runs UniFi Network software for centralized management. It enables configuration, monitoring, and analytics through a single interface. In addition, it supports site-to-site VPN, remote access VPN, and advanced routing configurations. As a result, it is suitable for distributed networks and secure remote connectivity.
The USG-PRO-4 uses a rackmount 1U design with active cooling. It is optimized for continuous operation in enterprise racks and network cabinets.
This gateway is ideal for organizations that require dedicated routing and security with UniFi ecosystem integration. It works well in offices, campuses, and branch deployments.
