Description

The Ubiquiti EdgeRouter 6P (SKU: ER-6P) is a high-performance Gigabit router designed for enterprise, SMB, and WISP deployments. It combines advanced Layer 3 routing with integrated passive PoE support, making it suitable for powering network devices while maintaining high routing performance.

This router features 5× Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports and 1× Gigabit SFP port. As a result, it provides flexible connectivity for LAN, WAN, and fiber uplinks. It supports hardware-accelerated packet processing, which ensures high throughput and low latency under demanding network conditions.

The ER-6P supports configurable 24V passive PoE output on its RJ45 ports. Therefore, it can directly power compatible Ubiquiti devices such as airMAX radios and access points. This reduces the need for external PoE injectors and simplifies deployment.

The device runs EdgeOS. It supports advanced routing protocols such as static routing, OSPF, BGP, and RIP. In addition, it enables features such as VLAN segmentation, QoS, firewall policies, and VPN services. As a result, it delivers secure and flexible network control.

For management, the router provides both a command-line interface (CLI) and a web-based GUI. Therefore, it allows detailed configuration and centralized monitoring of network operations.
