The HPE Aruba R9W96A CX 8100-48XF4C Switch is a high-performance Layer 3 switch. It is part of the Aruba CX 8100 series and is designed for enterprise campus core and data center aggregation.

The switch provides 48 × 10G SFP+ ports. It also includes 4 × 40/100G QSFP28 uplink ports. These ports enable high-speed connectivity for aggregation and backbone networks.

This model is built for core and aggregation architectures. It supports deployment in campus core, data center ToR (Top-of-Rack), or end-of-row environments.

The R9W96A runs on the Aruba AOS-CX operating system. It supports advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 features, including VLAN, QoS, IPv4/IPv6 routing, BGP, OSPF, VRF, VXLAN, and EVPN.
