The Juniper MPC7E-10G is a high-capacity Modular Port Concentrator (MPC) designed for use with Juniper MX Series routers, delivering scalable, high-density 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) connectivity for service provider and enterprise edge networks. Powered by Juniper’s advanced Trio chipset, the MPC7E-10G enables high-performance packet processing, deep buffering, and rich service capabilities such as QoS, traffic management, and hierarchical scheduling.

This MPC supports up to 40× 10GbE SFP+ ports through compatible MIC (Modular Interface Card) configurations, offering flexible interface options for aggregation, peering, broadband network gateway (BNG), and data center interconnect deployments. The module provides up to 400 Gbps throughput, ensuring high-speed forwarding and scalability for demanding network environments.
