Description
CFP-100G-ER4= is a 100GBASE-ER4 CFP (Centum Form Factor Pluggable) transceiver compatible with Huawei. It runs on a single-mode fiber pair and has four independent optical communication lines separated from each other through WDM LAN technology. It has a speed of 25.78 Gbps (Ethernet applications) or 27.95 Gbps (OTU4 applications).
The module has a guaranteed minimum optical budget of 18 dB, which in most cases is sufficient to reach a distance of 40 kilometers using a single-mode cable. However, the distance is only an indicative parameter calculated to facilitate identification. Finally, we calculate the distance considering the minimum optical budget and the average attenuation of the industry's optical cable. CFP-100G-ER4 is compatible with 4 TOSA 27.95 Gb/s LAN WDM cooled laser transmitters (1295.56, 1300.05, 1304.58, 1309.14 nm) and 4 PIN ROSA 27.95 Gb/s receivers. The compatible CFP-100G-ER4= module requires a single 3.3 V power supply and the power consumption is less than 9 W.
