Description

The Ubiquiti EdgeRouter 6P (ER-6P) is a high-performance enterprise router designed for advanced routing and integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) deployments. It is part of the EdgeRouter series and is suitable for small to medium enterprise networks, branch offices, and WISP environments.

The ER-6P features 5× Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports and 1× Gigabit SFP port for fiber uplink connectivity. The RJ45 ports support configurable 24V passive PoE output, allowing the router to power compatible Ubiquiti devices such as wireless access points and radios directly without the need for external injectors.

Powered by a multi-core processor with hardware acceleration, the ER-6P delivers efficient Layer 3 routing performance with support for advanced networking features. It supports routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and RIP, along with firewall policies, NAT, and VPN services for secure and flexible network operation.

The device is designed for desktop or rack-mount deployment (with optional kit) and runs EdgeOS, providing both CLI and web-based management interfaces for configuration and monitoring.
