Description
The Juniper SRX1500 is a high-performance next-generation firewall (NGFW) and security services gateway designed for enterprise campuses, regional headquarters, and large branch environments. It delivers a balance of strong security, routing, and application visibility in a compact 1U rack-mount form factor, making it ideal for organizations requiring scalable protection without large infrastructure overhead.
Powered by Junos OS, the SRX1500 integrates advanced security features such as intrusion prevention (IPS), application visibility and control (AppSecure), antivirus, antispam, and web filtering, along with Juniper Advanced Threat Prevention for detecting zero-day and encrypted threats.
The appliance supports high-speed networking with 16× 1 GbE and 4× 10 GbE ports, plus expansion via PIM slots, allowing flexible WAN connectivity. It also supports secure SD-WAN, IPsec/SSL VPN, and EVPN-VXLAN integration for modern hybrid and cloud-connected architectures.
With performance of up to 9.2 Gbps firewall throughput, 3.3 Gbps IPS throughput, and 2 million concurrent sessions, the SRX1500 provides reliable, low-latency protection for mission-critical applications and networks.
