The Juniper SRX-SFP-1GE-SX is a 1 Gigabit Ethernet (1 GbE) short-range fiber SFP transceiver. It is designed for use in SRX Series Services Gateways and other compatible Juniper SFP-enabled devices. Additionally, this hot-swappable module provides reliable fiber connectivity over multi-mode fiber (MMF). It supports distances up to 550 meters using standard 50/125 µm or 62.5/125 µm cables.

It supports IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-SX standards. It ensures high-speed, low-latency connectivity for enterprise WAN links, data center interconnects, and branch office connections.
