Built as part of the MX Series, this 1U fixed router delivers exceptional scalability, efficiency, and performance in space-constrained environments.
This model includes base hardware with standard Junos OS, providing a foundation for advanced routing and switching capabilities. Additional feature licenses can be added based on deployment requirements.
The MX204 platform delivers up to 400 Gbps of system throughput, making it ideal for high-density aggregation, metro Ethernet, and cloud edge applications. It features 8x 10GbE SFP+ ports and 4x 100GbE QSFP28 ports, supporting flexible connectivity and scalable bandwidth growth.
Designed for high availability, the MX204-HWBASE-AC-FS includes dual AC power supplies in a 1+1 redundant configuration, along with hot-swappable fan modules for uninterrupted operation.
