Description

The Juniper Networks ACX7024 Cloud Metro Router is a high-performance, industrial-grade multiservice platform designed to meet the evolving demands of modern cloud metro, 5G, IoT, and enterprise network environments. As part of the ACX7000 family, this router delivers exceptional scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency in a compact 1U form factor.

Powered by Junos OS Evolved and integrated with Juniper Paragon Automation, the ACX7024 enables advanced programmability, automation, and real-time network visibility. It supports a wide range of deployment scenarios including service provider edge, mobile backhaul, enterprise WAN, and residential broadband aggregation.

The ACX7024 offers a total system throughput of 360 Gbps and features 24 multi-rate SFP28 ports supporting 1GbE, 10GbE, and 25GbE, along with 4 QSFP28 100GbE uplink ports for high-capacity aggregation. This flexible interface design ensures seamless scalability and investment protection as network demands grow.

Built for harsh environments, the ACX7024 is industrial temperature-rated and includes advanced thermal management with six redundant fans (5+1) and dual field-replaceable AC or DC power supplies (1+1 redundancy). It also incorporates precision timing technologies such as Class C timing, GPS/GNSS support, and synchronization features critical for 4G/5G mobile deployments.

The platform supports next-generation networking technologies including Segment Routing (SR), SRv6, MPLS, and EVPN-VXLAN, enabling highly flexible overlay and underlay architectures. With built-in Zero Trust security and Paragon Active Assurance capabilities, the ACX7024 enhances service assurance and end-to-end network performance monitoring.

Optional support services such as Juniper Care (1-Year, 3-Year, or 5-Year) can be added to provide 24/7 technical assistance, software updates, and hardware replacement, ensuring maximum uptime and operational continuity.
