The Juniper EX4100‑48MP is a high-performance, Layer 2/Layer 3 enterprise access switch designed for campus and branch networks. It provides advanced features and high-density connectivity. Additionally, it offers Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) support for devices such as access points, IP phones, and cameras. Powered by Juniper Junos OS, the EX4100‑48MP delivers reliable, scalable switching with low latency and robust security.
This model features 48× 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ‑45 ports with PoE/PoE+ support (up to 30 W per port). This allows flexible deployment of powered devices without requiring separate power infrastructure. It also includes 4× 10G SFP+ uplinks for aggregation or spine connections. As a result, it ensures high-speed connectivity for enterprise traffic.
The EX4100‑48MP supports Virtual Chassis technology, enabling multiple switches (up to 10) to operate as a single logical device. This simplifies management, increases redundancy, and allows network scaling without complex configuration. The switch offers Layer 2/3 features including VLANs, QoS, ACLs, OSPF/BGP routing, and security policies for converged enterprise networks.
