The HPE Aruba S0F84A CX 9300S Switch is a high-performance Layer 3 data center switch. It is part of the Aruba CX 9300 series and is built for large-scale cloud and enterprise environments.
The switch provides 32 × 100G QSFP28 ports. It also supports 8 × 400G QSFP-DD ports, delivering ultra-high bandwidth for modern data center fabrics.
This model is designed for spine-leaf architectures. It is commonly deployed as a spine or core switch in high-density data centers. It supports large-scale east-west traffic and high-performance computing workloads.
The S0F84A delivers up to 25.6 Tbps switching capacity in a compact 1U form factor.
The switch runs on the Aruba AOS-CX operating system. It supports advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 features, including VLAN, QoS, IPv4/IPv6 routing, BGP, OSPF, VRF, VXLAN, and EVPN. These features enable automation and network virtualization.
From a hardware perspective, the device includes dual hot-swappable power supplies and multiple fan modules. It uses back-to-front airflow, making it suitable for hot/cold aisle data center environments.
