The HPE Aruba JL741A CX 6410 Switch is a modular Layer 3 switch. It is part of the Aruba CX 6400 series and is designed for enterprise campus and data center networks.
The switch provides 96 × 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ ports. These ports support Class 4 PoE, delivering up to 30W per port. It also includes 4 × SFP56 uplink ports, supporting up to 50G connectivity for high-speed aggregation.
This model is built on a modular chassis architecture. It includes a chassis, management module, fan trays, and line cards, with additional expansion slots available for scalability.
The JL741A is suitable for access, aggregation, and core deployments. It supports modern campus fabric and data center architectures, including spine-leaf designs.
The switch runs on the Aruba AOS-CX operating system. It supports advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 features, such as VLAN, QoS, IPv4/IPv6 routing, BGP, OSPF, VRF, VXLAN, and EVPN.
