The HPE Aruba JL706C CX 8360-32Y4C v2 Switch is a high-performance Layer 3 switch. It is part of the Aruba CX 8360 v2 series and is designed for modern data center and enterprise networks.
The switch provides 32 × 1/10/25G SFP28 ports. These ports deliver high-density connectivity for servers and storage. It also includes 4 × 40/100G QSFP28 uplink ports for high-speed backbone connections.
This model is built for spine-leaf architectures. It can operate as a leaf, aggregation, or core switch. This flexibility supports scalable and high-performance deployments.
The JL706C runs on the Aruba AOS-CX operating system. It supports advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 features, including VLAN, QoS, IPv4/IPv6 routing, BGP, OSPF, VRF, VXLAN, and EVPN. These features improve scalability and automation.
The switch delivers up to 4.8 Tbps switching capacity with high forwarding performance. It is designed to handle demanding workloads with low latency.
From a hardware perspective, the device uses a compact 1U rack-mounted design. It supports redundant power supplies and fan modules for high availability. It also supports MACsec on selected ports for secure data transmission.
