Description

The Cisco WS-G5484 is a Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) transceiver module. It is designed to provide Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over multimode fiber (MMF).

This module supports the 1000BASE-SX standard, operating at a wavelength of 850 nm. It delivers reliable short-range fiber connectivity for enterprise and campus networks.

The WS-G5484 supports distances up to 550 meters over multimode fiber, depending on fiber type and quality.
