Description
The Cisco GSR10-CSC is a critical switch fabric component. It is designed for the Cisco 12000 Series Gigabit Switch Routers (GSR).
This module functions as a Clock Scheduler Card (CSC). It provides system timing, synchronization, and scheduling for the router’s switch fabric.
In the Cisco 12410 router, the switch fabric requires two CSC modules:
- One active CSC for operation
- One standby CSC for redundancy
The GSR10-CSC is part of a high-capacity switching system. It supports up to 200 Gbps switching fabric bandwidth, ensuring efficient packet forwarding in core networks.
This card plays a key role in:
