The Cisco A9K-MPA-2X100GE is a high-performance modular port adapter. It is designed for use with the Cisco ASR 9000 Series, enabling ultra-fast network connectivity.
This module provides 2 × 100 Gigabit Ethernet (100GE) ports, delivering high-bandwidth capacity for service provider and large enterprise networks.
It is installed within compatible modular line cards (LCs) in ASR 9000 routers. This flexible architecture allows operators to scale port density based on network demands.
The adapter supports advanced networking technologies such as:
