C1-N9K-C93108EXB24 – Cisco Nexus 9000 Series
Cisco ONE Nexus 93108TC-EX Switch-L3-48 x 10GBase-T + 6 x 40/100 Gb QSFP +-with 4 x QSFP-100G-PSM4-S or QSFP-100G-SR4-S transceivers (2-pack) -Rack installation (C1-N9K-C93108EXB24) Cisco Nexus 9300-EX platform is the next generation of fixed Cisco Nexus 9000 series switches. The platform is based on Cisco’s Cloud Scale ASIC, which supports cost-effective Cloud Scale deployment, more endpoints, and Cloud Services with wire-speed security and telemetry. The platform is built on a modern system architecture and aims to provide high performance to meet the evolving needs of highly scalable data centers and growing companies.
The Cisco Nexus 9300-EX platform switch provides multiple interface options that can transparently migrate existing data centers from 100 Mbps, 1-Gbps, and 10 Gbps speeds to 25 Gbps on the server, and from 10 Gbps and 40 Gbps speeds To the server. The rate of the aggregation layer is 50 Gbps and 100 Gbps. The platform provides customers with investment protection, large buffers, huge layer 2 and layer 3 scalability and performance, and can meet the changing needs of highly virtualized automated cloud environments in data centers. The platform hardware supports the Cisco Data Center Interconnect (DCI) function, which enables flexible workload mobility and LAN and SAN convergence.
Cisco Nexus 9300-EX series switches belong to the fixed Cisco Nexus 9000 platform based on Cisco Cloud Scale technology. The platform supports cost-effective cloud-scale deployment, more endpoints and cloud services. The platform is based on a modern system architecture and aims to provide high performance and meet the evolving needs of highly scalable data centers and growing companies. The Cisco Nexus 9300-EX series switches provide a variety of interface options that can transparently migrate existing data centers from 100 Mbps, 1-Gbps, and 10 Gbps speeds to 25 Gbps, 10 and 40 Gbps speeds on servers. At the aggregation layer, 50 Gbps and 100 Gbps are reached.
The platform provides customers with investment protection, large buffers, highly flexible layer 2 and layer 3 scalability, and performance that can meet the changing needs of virtualized data centers and automated cloud environments. Cisco provides two operating modes for the Cisco Nexus 9000 series switches. Organizations can use Cisco NX-OS software to deploy switches in a standard Cisco Nexus switch environment (NX-OS mode). Organizations can also deploy an infrastructure that is ready to support the Cisco Application-centric Infrastructure (Cisco ACI™) platform to take full advantage of a policy-based automated automated system management approach (ACI mode).
