The ASUS DSL-AC88U Annex B (SKU: DSL-AC88U Annex B) is a high-performance dual-band VDSL/ADSL modem router designed for advanced home and SMB networking. It integrates DSL modem and wireless routing functions, while Annex B support ensures compatibility with ISDN-based DSL lines used in specific regions.
This device supports WiFi 5 (802.11ac) with combined speeds up to 3167 Mbps (AC3100 class). It uses 4×4 MIMO on both bands and NitroQAM (1024-QAM) technology. As a result, it increases throughput and improves efficiency for bandwidth-intensive applications such as 4K streaming and online gaming.
The router supports multiple broadband standards, including ADSL, ADSL2/2+, VDSL2, and G.fast. Therefore, it ensures compatibility with both legacy and next-generation DSL networks.
