The ASUS DSL-AC56U (SKU: DSL-AC56U) is a dual-band VDSL/ADSL modem router designed for home and small office broadband environments. It integrates DSL modem functionality with wireless routing, making it suitable for ADSL, VDSL, and Ethernet WAN deployments.
This device supports dual-band WiFi 5 (802.11ac) with combined speeds up to AC1200. It delivers up to 867 Mbps on the 5GHz band and 300 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. As a result, it provides balanced wireless performance for streaming, browsing, and multi-device connectivity.
The router supports VDSL2, ADSL2/2+, and ADSL standards. Therefore, it ensures compatibility with a wide range of DSL service providers.
