AIR-SAP1602E-A-K9 Overview
The AIR-SAP1602E-A-K9 is a Cisco Aironet 1600 Series dual-band 802.11a/g/n stand-alone wireless access point for business wireless networks. It is intended for deployments that require external antennas and an A regulatory domain.
This model supports 802.11a and 802.11g data rates of up to 54 Mbps, plus 802.11n operation on 2.4 GHz at up to 300 Mbps. External antennas are purchased separately and may have gains up to 6 dBi on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
The access point uses a 10/100/1000BASE-T autosensing RJ-45 interface for network connection and includes an RJ-45 management console port. It operates using standard 802.3af PoE with stated power consumption of 15.4 watts.
