Overview of Huawei Air Engine 5762-16w Access Point
The Huawei 5762-16w is a compact indoor Wi-Fi access point specifically designed for high-speed coverage of multiple small-area rooms such as dormitories, hospital wards and guest rooms.
The innovative dual-beam directional antennas and a special algorithm optimize the spatial distribution of the radio energy, which significantly improves the coverage area and wall penetration of the AP signals.
In this way, a single AP can provide signal coverage for up to three rooms. In addition, the mounting bracket allows for quick, intuitive and tool-free installation.
A dual-beam antenna design ensures a consistent Wi-Fi experience in every room. The AP’s angle polarization solution minimizes signal loss through walls, improving bandwidth capacity compared to other multi-room solutions.
Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO) and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) technologies improve data transmission efficiency, with 1024 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM), four spatial streams, and an air interface rate of up to 2.975 Gbit/s.
Huawei’s cloud management platform allows APs and services to be easily managed on the cloud, simplifying Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and slashing associated costs.
