The SFPP‑10GE‑LR is a high‑performance 10GBASE‑LR SFP+ optical transceiver designed to deliver reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over single‑mode fiber (SMF) links. Built to comply with the IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE‑LR specification and Multi‑Source Agreement (MSA), it operates at a 1310 nm wavelength and supports transmission distances of up to 10 km over SMF using a duplex LC connector — ideal for connecting data center racks, campus buildings, and metro fiber segments. This SFP+ module is also equipped with Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) capabilities, allowing real‑time access to optical performance metrics like transmit/receive power, temperature, and bias current, which helps with network visibility and fault diagnosis.
