The Juniper QFX‑QSFP‑DAC‑1M is a high‑performance QSFP+ Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cable designed for short‑reach, high‑speed connectivity between QSFP+ ports in data center and enterprise network environments. Engineered for use with Juniper QFX Series switches and other compatible QSFP+‑enabled devices, this 1‑meter passive DAC delivers reliable 40 Gbps connectivity (4×10 Gbps lanes) with low power consumption and minimal latency, making it an economical choice for short interconnects such as Top‑of‑Rack (ToR) switch‐to‐server or switch‑to‑aggregation links.
The QSFP+ DAC form factor enables plug‑and‑play deployment without the need for optical transceivers or fiber cabling, simplifying installation and lowering total cost of ownership (TCO). It supports the QSFP+ Multi‑Source Agreement (MSA) standards and is compatible with Juniper networking platforms that accept QFX‑branded DAC modules.
