The Juniper Networks QFX5120-32C-AFI is a high-performance, low-latency data center switch designed for modern cloud, enterprise, and service provider environments. As part of the QFX5120 Series, this compact 1U switch delivers exceptional scalability, flexibility, and automation capabilities for spine-leaf architectures and high-speed aggregation layers.
The QFX5120-32C-AFI features 32 QSFP28 ports, each supporting 100GbE connectivity, delivering an aggregate throughput of up to 3.2 Tbps. Each port can be flexibly configured for 40GbE or broken out into 4x25GbE or 4x10GbE connections, allowing organizations to optimize port utilization and adapt to evolving network requirements.
This model includes AFI (Airflow In), meaning front-to-back airflow, making it ideal for hot aisle/cold aisle data center deployments. The efficient thermal design ensures consistent performance under heavy workloads while maintaining energy efficiency.
